Anika’s Beauty and the Beast Birthday gala

Hope everyone’s having a great Tuesday so far. This post is dedicated to princess Anika, who celebrated her 7th birthday with a Beauty and the Beast theme. With the recent release of the movie, there seems to be a “revival” of this princess all over again. To keep things classy and not too kid-ish, we took inspirations from the color of Belle and Beast’s clothes! Yup! and we totally loved the whole setup. Of course, we had to infuse the details of Belle’s lil friends and red roses and her love of books into this whole ensemble to make it truly a Beauty and the Beast gala.

With themes like this, details are very important. We adorned every cookies, cake pops, cupcakes and cakes with lots of embellishments to bring it to life. Our birthday cake is topped with our very own handcrafted sugar Belle and the Beast. We also created balloons cluster with special rose foil balloons on top to add an extra touch to the table. Mommy and her friends decorated the tables as well with stacks of books and teacups, and a fun activity corner for the princesses to be entertained with.

And of course, our lil princesses arrived for the gala , all dressed up super pretty in their princess gowns! Happy 7th birthday Anika! Hope you had a blast. It was our utmost pleasure to be a part of your royal celebration. Thanks Mommy for being super nice from beginning to end, totally supportive of our works and letting us have full creative reign over the table.

Baby Ellie’s Rustic floral full month celebration!

Well, hello Tuesday! Here are some pictures of the recent dessert table that we did for Baby Ellie’s full month celebration around East Coast area. The direction given was pink color, woody, floral and something to the like of our company logo – the wreath and watercolor effect. And that pretty much sums up what we have done for the party. We did our very own wreath with pink and white flowers, and did a leaf garland that drape over the top panel of the wooden backdrop for a rustic vibe. We have cupcakes and cake pops with fondant flowers and brought in mini lemon tarts and chocolate ganache tarts with fresh raspberries for a more tart kinda desserts. To emphasize on the full month aspect of the party, we did cake pops in the shape of rattles, as well as custom sugar cookies with the baby onesies and milk bottles. We even have a custom floral painting with gold calligraphy done by our dear friend to embellish our table and it worked like a charm! Too beautiful! Client was so happy to receive it and will be hanging it in her house after the event. And we brought in those pink oversized balloons to jazz up the table. It was definitely a rustic and sweet table for Baby Ellie! And mommy dropped us a sweet note:

Hi Angie, thank you so much for the lovely setup today! We totally loved it! You totally nailed the theme, the color hues and everything is just so lovely!”

Yay! We loved it too!

Prince Aaron turns 2!

We have seen a lot of prince/knights theme cakes or dessert tables, but this specific party is uniquely true to Aaron, who has a specific fondness of spoons and forks! Quite an obsession, isn’t it? Hence, Mommy decided to incorporate that love into the Prince theme. This is our second setup at the Cool de Sac at Suntec Convention, Singapore. It was a bright room decorated in the blue and white theme. While keeping things relatively “babyish” and cute, we also took on the “regal” aspect of the Kingdom life by incorporating shades of blues, gold and white as our main primary colors. And Mommy had specifically asked for the boy figurine on the cake to resemble the image of the boy in the backdrop. Holding a spoon, of course! We even had chocolate melts with gold pareils and edible stars on gold plastic spoons for an extra dose of his love. Cupcakes and cookies in the shapes of shields and crowns are part of the desserts for the day. Macarons are spray painted in gold and we painted his initials, and the crown to further personalize it. Not to forget our very cute version of baby dinosaur to accompany the table. It was a cute Prince kinda party! Happy 2nd Birthday, Aaron!

Shama’s 1st Rainbow Birthday Party

We have been given the privilege to create parties on behalf of Shama from right before she was born. The very first one was her Mommy’s baby shower, and we have done her one month old party and now her 1st birthday! It feels like we have watched her grow pretty much. And this time, it is held at Shama’s fave gym place at UE Square Singapore, where she regularly attends the class there. The color theme was to be bright colors of the rainbows, however, Mommy has made it clear that she doesn’t want the icon of the rainbow. Hence, we paired the colors with stripes and polka dots to spruce things up a little. We paid emphasis to the colors by making sure our confections such as cake pops, macarons, cookies carry the various colors as well. And we brought in some strawberries, and Shama’s fave fruit – bananas to add to the table. It was definitely one colorful party! Not to be missed! And the cake was a toy box full of the toys that Shama has grown fond of over the year. So, if you are not sure what theme you should have for your child’s party, maybe you can start with their fave toys. Just an idea!

Germaine’s Barnyard Party!

As the Rooster Chinese New Year is approaching, I thought its timely that I share our last dessert table setup that has a similar vibe to the Rooster – Barnyard theme with the hen. Ha! So, this party was done for a girl that I supposed love animals, and mommy requested the theme and with addition of more pink to the table to make it more girlie. We had an absolute fun time concocting this party from the printable to the cake to the desserts. And whats a barnyard party without a cutie farmer girl! From the customized cake with many cute sugar figurines to the different animals cake pops and dry noodles snack resembling haystack, it just adds to the theme. All the neighs, moos, oinks , baa-s,totally spiced up the party!
